Let me tell you about my worst experience. My baseline ping is 3ms. I connected to a server in Edinburg and my Ping went up to 1261 , download down to 0.46 and ookla cannot measure the upload speed. Sent the screenshot to nord and they cannot explain.

A word of warning!. If you are only interested in U.K servers, stay away from Nord VPN. from my baseline 400Mbps, the best U.K servers will run at around 12-!5Mbps. Nord cannot fix it for me. After many months of trying, i was given a list of servers and told: Please try connecting to these server ranges in the NordVPN application. Of couse they were useless.

Lucky you. My baseline speed is 400Mbps. If i connect to U.K servers it goes down fron 1mbps to around 15Mbps if i am lucky. You may ask why don't i contact support at Nord. The have been unable to diagnose the problems after so many changes to my system. it is useless.

Wish what you said applied to me. I have a fibr connection speed of 400Mbps. When i connect to any U.K servers my download speed averages around 15Mbps. I have been in touch with their support and to no avail. I have done many tests as requested such as WinMTR, sent unpteenth diagnostics and never been told what is the exact problem. So do not tell me Nord is the best and fastest VPN. A nightmare.

Thanks for the video. Though to be honest most of this content is waaaay above me. I mean, I get that VPNs make surfing the web safer but I don't even know what torrenting is, 90% of the other things you talked about. Anyway, the main reason I'm looking at a VPN is wifey and I are going to Europe for two weeks and I've heard that using a VPN can trick Verizon not thinking I'm still in the US and avoid the international charges they whacked me with last year when we were in Portugal.
